Synopsis:

The three little pigs aren't so little anymore, so Mama Pig tells them it's time they go out into the world on their own. It's a dark and scary night in the forest, but they each manage to build a house. One is made of straw, one is made of wood, and one is made of strong bricks. The three little pigs feel safe in their cozy new homes, until a hungry wolf comes for a visit.

About the Author: Roberto Piumini lives and works in his native Italy. He has worked with children as both a teacher and a theater actor/entertainer. He credits these experiences for inspiring the youthful language of his many books. With his crisp and imaginative way of dealing with every kind of subject, he charms his young readers. His award-winning books, for both children and adults, have been translated into many languages.

Nicoletta Costa was born in Trieste, Italy, in 1953, where she still lives and works. She took a degree in Architecture at the University of Venice in 1978 and two years later she began her career as illustrator. She has illustrated, as well as written, dozens of picture books. Costa was awarded the Andersen Prize for best children?s illustrator in 1994.
