Aimed at students and instructors in philosophy and women's studies, as well as to members of the larger community, this book includes a range of articles suitable for both introductory courses in philosophy and upper-division courses in philosophy and feminist theory. The scope of the papers is limited to western philosophical traditions, focusing on contemporary issues. The papers are collected into chapters titled by traditional fields of philosophy - methodology, metaphysics, theory of knowledge, philosophy of science, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind and philosophy of religion.
