"This book is on the leading edge of contemporary thinking about the hidden powers of the human spirit. It is logical, inspiring, and it works." --J. Wendell Forbes, Retired Deputy Publisher, Guideposts
"The power of this book is in its simplicity and practicality. It will focus the reader squarely on the basic areas for life fulfillment." --Ken Melrose, Chairman and CEO, The Toro Company
In the decades since Norman Vincent Peale launched the enormously popular human potential movement with The Power of Positive Thinking, millions have been touched by his message. Now, in the same practical and exhilarating spirit, Eric Fellman guides us even further, with potent results. Fellman illuminates the key spiritual principles "behind" the Positive Thinking message, and in doing so reveals a path toward self-fulfillment that is refreshingly navigable and relevant.
"My husband, Norman Vincent Peale, and I selected Eric Fellman to be President of Peale Center because we felt he could help teach the next generation the powerful principles of Positive Thinking." --Ruth Stafford Peale.
Engaging and always sensible, Fellman's voice provides encouragement and concrete advice as he counters negativity and focuses us all on the "personal" spirituality at work in our lives today. He shows us how to access that strong -- and strengthening -- spirituality, how to have faith in it, and how to apply it, as an indispensable element, to every aspect of our modern lives.
Stories and testimonies from the many people reached in his years of service bring Fellman's message to life, proving that his program is, above all, achievable. Fellman presents nine clear, surmountable steps, demonstrating how to decide on the essentials in life, set and accomplish goals, develop inner strength and more. Here also are the tools for successfully tapping the powers of faith, hope and love that are the driving force behind Positive Thinking.
Eric Fellman worked with Norman Vincent Peale in the nine years before his death, as editor-in-chief at the Peale Center for Christian Living. He was named President and CEO of the Peale Center in 1992, a role he continues to fill today. Fellman publishes and contributes to Daily Guideposts, Positive Living and PLUS: The Magazine of Positive Living, as well as serveing on the management team of Guideposts, which publishes Guidepost magazine for five million subscribers. He continues to carry Dr.Peale's message forward in his nationwide ministry.
