About the Author:
Dr. Yongqing Fang is a faculty member of the University of Canberra. He has previously taught in universities in Australia, Canada, China, and Singapore. Dr. Fang has authored and coauthored ten books, and has published widely in leading international journals and conferences. He has been a recipient of awards from The Academy of Management (USA) and The Administrative Science Association of Canada conferences. He has served as an advisor for organizations in both private and public sectors in China, North America, and Southeast Asia. He has been an invited speaker to business and professional associations including HR Asia Congress, Singapore National Employers Federation, and Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has also appeared in national and international television and radio programs. Kamal Kant currently lectures in Management and Career-related courses at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has previously lectured on Management and Organisational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Human Relationships in the Workplace and career-related programs and workshops for other tertiary institutions in Singapore including Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), and the Singapore campuses of James Cook University, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and University of Buffalo (State University of New York). He also facilitates corporate workshops, seminars and retreats. His articles have been widely published in the print and digital media. He has also hosted a series of regular weekly radio programme on careers. Prior to his career in conducting workshops and lecturing, he spent more than 25 years in executive and managerial appointments in operations and administration with several organisations including the Economic Development Board and the Public Utilities Board. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from the University of London and a Master of Science in Organisational Behaviour from the University of London.
