About the Author:

Ernest Burden is an architect, writer, and principal of Burden Associates, a New York-based media and marketing consulting firm. He is the author of many acclaimed books on architecture and preservation, including The Illustrated Dictionary of Architecture, Second Edition; Illustrated Dictionary of Architectural Preservation, and Entourage: A Tracing File for Architectural and Interior Design Drawing. Mr. Burden is a frequent speaker at conventions of the American Institute of Architects, the Restoration and Renovation Conference, Build Boston, and the Society for Marketing Professional Services.
