The intense and growing interest in innovative technologies for urban storm drainage is reflected in the steadily growing prestige of the NOVATECH conference series and the record attendance (about 340 participants from 24 countries) at NOVATECH '98 . Its programme comprised over 130 papers, which focused on innovative methods of sewerage and drainage analysis, stormwater management, and CSO control and treatment.
