Angela Frith Antrim graduated from Duke University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Political Science. After working as a buyer for a department store chain for five years, Ms. Antrim attended Salem College to earn her Elementary Education certification. Ms. Antrim taught 4th and 5th grades, as well as art in North Carolina public and private schools. Ms. Antrim currently writes classroom curriculum from her home in North Carolina. She has written Literature Guides for Tuck Everlasting, The Giver, Frankenstein, 1984, and Maniac Magee for Secondary Solutions. Ms. Antrim has also contributed to a math intervention curriculum for the state of California.
