About the Author:
Katherine Paterson is one of the world's most renowned children's book authors. Marvin's a new first-grader who is having difficulty learning to read. Christina Moore reads slowly, plodding along almost painfully. It's not surprising that this does nothing to engage children in the story. There are cute sound effects of kids' voices and sprightly music.
