Stephen P. Robbins received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. Before that he worked with Shell Oil and Reynolds Metals. Since completing his studies, Dr. Robbins has taught at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Concordia University in Montreal, the University of Baltimore, Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and San Diego State University. Dr. Robbins research interests center around conflict, power and political in organizations, and the development of efficient intrapersonal abilities. His articles about this and other themes have appeared in numerous magazines in the U.S. In more recent years, Dr. Robbins has spent the majority of his time writing text books. His books are used in over 800 U.S. universities.
