Academico is owned and operated by Troy Casa of Reno, NV. Mr. Casa apprenticed with Edward Hoffman, ABAA in Columbus, Ohio while an undergraduate at The Ohio State University, owned and operated Casa di Libri in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was an instrumental part of bringing Alibris to life in 1999, serving both as buyer and catalog manager for the online used book retailer. Academico concentrates on scholarly non-fiction, Poetry, Literary Criticism, Art and Archaeology, Henry David Thoreau, the West, Cartography and Maps.
In addition, Academico provides cataloging, storage and shipping services on a consignment basis for large library deacquisition efforts, retiring scholars and used bookshops that are seeking new revenue sources. See website for details.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
