Aquamarine cloth with gilt lettering, dark mottling to boards and spine, fraying at spine ends with short tear at heel of front joint, scuffing to bottom board corners. Text block edges well toned with some foxing spots; front and rear pastedowns heavily toned too with some staining at bottom right of front free endpaper; ink ownership inscription on half-title page; first several leaves have negligibly small chips at top edges; several interior leaves toned from previously laid-in but now removed newspaper clippings all irrelevant to the book's content.
