Description:

August 1912. Staple bound, cardstock paper cover glued on. Illustration of eagle flying with camera on a tripod in its talons. "Sample Copy" stamped on front. Chipping along spine, bottom right corner dog eared. "American Photography" was a periodical for the photography enthusiast published from 1907-1953. This issue includes several lovely portraits taken by John H. Garo (1870-1939), a Boston society photographer who was the mentor of Yousuf Karsh. Bookseller Inventory # 016118
