About the Author: Sylvia Lyon Rodman was born in Chile. Political upheavals of the 1970s forced her to move, first to Brazil, and later to the United States. She worked at Spanish International Network (SIN), where, as a pioneer in Cable TV she was instrumental in the formation of Galavision, the first Spanish language Premium Pay Service in the world, as its Program Director. The playwright, translator and short fiction writer returns to the world of letters with her debut novel. A graduate of NYU, she is a member of The Dramatists Guild. She lives in New York and Connecticut.
