Publisher's cloth binding with printed plastic dust wrapper, very uncommon for find this issue is fine condition with dust jacket also in fine condition. 86 pages with drawings throughout. Henry Fielding (1707-1754) was a English novelist, famous for this satirical writings about contemporary politics and society and best known for his novel, "Tom Jones". This work was first published anonymously in 1741, and though Fielding never acknowledged it, it is generally considered to be written by him. It is a parody of the popular novel "Pamela" by his rival Samuel Richardson, and, like "Pamela" is written in epistolary form. Seller Inventory # 015855
