Inscription on FFEP: "Awarded to Miss Hollie King, by Henry C. Houston, for her zeal in securing the largest addition of members -- in a given time -- to Charleston Union Temple, No. 157, S. O. of Good Templars. May 1859." Joints and edges of boards lightly scuffed; two small spots of white paint on rear board; some faint foxing, and off-setting of portraits onto facing pages.
