A ten day promissory note to the order of SS E. F. Loring & Co. for the sum of 169 pesos with 6 reals in current coin , at one percent interest per month by William Harwood. Signed by an official with filing number. Clean copy with evidence of folding. Comes with a description and partial translation on Newbegin's Books (San Francisco, 358 Post St) letterhead.
