Kaye, Louis S. (screenwriter). TOO MANY BLONDES. Original March 27, 1941 SCRIPT for the Universal Studios Comedy which starred one of the stranger casts in musical comedy singing & dancing cinema history: Lon Chaney, Shemp Howard (of THE THREE STOOGES), Helen Parrish, Rudy Vallee, and in a small part as an elevator operator, GUS SCHILLING whose script this is, his name SIGNED to the front cover along with his autograph notations (also on the cover) of those pages (23,23,26, & 27) where the elevator scene in which he appears can be found. Orson Welles' fans take note that Schilling was one of Welles favorite character actors, appearing in almost all of Welles' films from CITIZEN KANE (1941) to TOUCH OF EVIL (1958). 103 mimeographed white pages with no other markings in typically simple early Universal printed wrappers. This is a complete working script and the pages are well-thumbed; there are a few tiny spots of staining to the covers but the script shows well. Bookseller Inventory # 001382
