About Benjamin Brown Books
Benjamin Brown Books opened in the summer of 2002 in the Olde Towne Mercantile, a reclaimed hardware store building, in La Grande, Oregon. Our name pays tribute to the first permanent settler in the Grande Ronde Valley, a cattleman and town father. We specialize in books for the collegian, connoisseur, and collector, with a special focus on technical books, regional history and adventure writing, and growing collections of philosophy, theology, and lexica.
