Description:

Olive green cloth boards have gilt lettering and decoration on the front cover and spine, blind stamped lettering and decoration on rear cover. Recased, collated, complete with all maps , plates, etc. called for. Extremities are a bit worn. Covers are faded and have some stains. Spine is faded, original backstrip laid down. Former owner's name in heavy pencil on the front pastedown. Engraved frontispiece is missing top portion, about 2" x 5". 43 pp. of ads following the index, including endpp. Text is quite clean, including several very good folding maps. Binding is sound and tight. Nice copy, digital image available. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 001993
