All domestic ABE orders $40.00 or more are shipped with delivery confirmation (tracking number). Insurance is available upon your request.
1) USPS Media Mail (book rate) postage, for delivery within the 48 contiguous U.S. states: $3.95 for the first book, $1.50 for each additional book.
2) USPS Priority Mail postage, for delivery within the U.S.: Hardcovers and paperbacks, $5.95. This rate applies for an order of a single book only, and does not apply to oversized books. Shipment excludes U.S. territories. If you are ordering two or more books, or one or more oversized books, please supply us with your zip code, and we will make arrangements with you to ship at cost.
3) For trade-sized hardcovers and paperbacks, we offer $20.00 shipping to most countries, and $15.00 shipping to Canada and Mexico. Typically, these rates apply for an order of a single book; please inquire if you are ordering two or more books.
4) For orders of larger books and sets, special rates for international delivery is available. Please inquire.
The first book of an order is the largest by weight.
BOOK GRADING, AND LIBRARY DISCARDS: We make every effort to describe and grade books accurately, and to sell competitively. All books, including library discards, are original binding unless noted otherwise. The library discards we carry are of a high quality, and are indicated as "ex-library" in the book description. You can expect a discard to be in the same condition of a very good book, excepting normal ex-libris defects including pasted paper slips on the front free endpaper, pasted pocket, and stampings typically on the front free endpaper and top and bottom paper edges, but possibly occuring elsewhere. Jackets are in the original protective mylar covers fitted by library staff, and most mylar covers are taped to endpapers or book covers. All of our library discards are legally withdrawn and bear proper "withdrawn" markings.
RETURNS: If the book you received does not match our description, you may return it within 10 days of shipping for a complete refund. ALL DOMESTIC RETURNS MUST INCLUDE USPS DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, and the 20-digit tracking number must be supplied to us before shipping. If the total value of the returned items is $30.00 or more, you must contact us before shipping, to make insurance arrangements. Books must be returned in the condition they were shipped. Re-use the package in which the book was sent, or a suitably stiff and padded package for safe transport. If you have a question, please do not hesitate to ask us.
