We are a family owned independent bookstore based in Cumbria. We are one of the largest second-hand stores in the UK, housed in a wonderful georgian building with over 5 floors of some 250,000 books. We also have around 30,000 books catalogued online, with a rare book room filled with first editions and antiquarian titles.

Cash can be sent upon placing order at buyer's risk. Credit/Debit card prefered: Visa; Mastercard; American Express; Switch; Solo; Delta. Cheques accepted in pounds sterling only. Postage and packing additional on ABE and all overseas orders. Please enquire by e-mail. Insurance at cost and as instructed. Postage charges will be based on actual weight of book for direct orders.
