Books of Paradise was established in January of 1988. We are a 'mom & pop' general used book store that buys, sells and trades books. We have approximately 70,000 books, of which 7,000+ are catalogued and listed online. If you don't see a book(s) you are looking for in our online inventory, we just might have it on our store shelves.

We guarantee the condition of every book as it's described on the Abebooks web sites. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged) or if the order hasn't arrived, you're eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. If you've changed your mind about a book that you've ordered, please use the Ask bookseller a question link to contact us and we'll respond within 2 business days.
Shipping Terms:
Postage charges: $4.25 (media mail) for 1st book, $2.50 each add'l book. Priority mail is 7.50 if book fits in flat-rate envelope, otherwise charged by weight and zip code. Ask for rates outside U.S.A. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. California sales are subject to collection of sales tax. Dealers can waive sales tax by providing your resale number to us.
