About the Author: Swarna Latha obtained her PhD in Geography from Andhra University, India in 2008. She has got Gold Medal in M.Sc in Geography from AU and awarded Young Scientist Fellowship from APCOST, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. She has several international and national research publications in her specialization i.e. coastal studies and water resources management.
