"The Complete Short Wave Listener's Handbook" by Hank Bennett. 288 pages. Illustrated throughout with photos, diagrams, drawings. Bennett obtained his first amateur radio license ih 1939 with the callsign of W2PNA. After military service in WWII as a radio operator with the 250th Signal Operations Company and the 13th Photo Intelligence Detachment he joined the Franklin Institute in Philadephia. In 1949 he assumed the editorship of the Newark News Radio Club, and was the DX editor for Popular Electronics Magazine. Numerous chapter sections including an introduction to shortwave listening, terminology, receivers, antennas, grequencies, propagation, amatuer radio, citizen bands, FX Dxing, ultility stations, logbooks card swapping, clugs, callsigns and much more. Very good condition with two stamps from prior owner in Fort Clayton, Canal Zone. This is also the person to who the book was inscribed. Bookseller Inventory # 000403
