This book is in fantastic condition for over 90 years old. Illustrated with scenes from the photoplay from Metro picture. 4 movie stills on endpapers and black and white glossy full page photographs in Near Fine condition throughout including frontispiece. Photos have no foxing. Book is in VERY GOOD+ condition with royal blue textured cloth binding with bold red embossed lettering on top of front board and black lettering on spine. Book's spine tips and corners are mildly bumped and worn and binding and insides are tight, bright and clean. Small 1/2" cut to inside of front gutter, is not started and does not affect solid binding. DW is VERY GOOD-- with front photo illustration complete with Jackie Coogan (as Nello) with dog (Petrasche.) DW's spine tips and corners bumped, worn and chipped with 1" x 2" chip missing from bottom spine tip. Photoplay was titled A Boy of Flanders and produced under the supervision of Jack Coogan, Sr. Book is composed of three stories: A Dog of Flanders, The Nurnberg Stove and The King of the Golden River.
