We offer you a wide variety of used, rare and out-of-print books in our inventory. Service is key to our relationship with you!! You get "Old School" service with Dr. Bookman. We can't look at each other in the eye, shake each others hand, or walk into the shop the next day if we're dissatisfied. We understand that vulnerability. You are purchasing a product sight unseen. That means we must be honest with you about exactly what you are buying. You might find our descriptions more detailed than most others, but when purchasing online, we want you to know exactly what you're buying. We don't want you to feel surprised when you open the box, unless, of course, it's "pleasantly", because we rate our books conservatively. And by the way, all of our books are shipped in cardboard packaging designed just for books.That means you get it the way it left our facility.

Terms of Sale
We guarantee the condition of every book as it's described on the Abebooks web
sites. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as
Described/Damaged) or if the order hasn't arrived, you're eligible for a refund
within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. If you've changed your mind about a
book that you've ordered, please use the Ask bookseller a question link to contact
us and we'll respond within 2 business days.
Shipping Terms
Our minimum shipping fee is $3.99 and also includes all handling and packaging fees. All book orders are packaged in cardboard shipping boxes made especially for books so you can rest assured your book arrives in the same condition it was described and left our facility. We ship books daily on business day and are often able to get them out on Saturdays as well. Domestic shipping is usually shipped standard media mail. We use software which automatically assigns the four digit extension on all zip codes which speeds up delivery considerably. If weight allows, we will also choose first class delivery over media mail. All orders receive a tracking number which is logged on to your order with AbeBooks on the website which will allow you to follow your order as it makes its way to you.
On foreign orders, we ship using the U.S. Postal Service. We DO NOT profit on Shipping and handling fees. We charge you our cost for the shipping as determined by the U.S. Postal Service with an additional $1 to $2 for packaging materials. Although our prices are listed for shipping, if you are overcharged through the checkout process, we will refund your account for the overage. All international orders over 4 pounds are required to be shipped priority international mail by the U.S. Postal Service. We have no control over this and you may find the costs for shipping a heavy book prohibitive. If, however, you order a smaller or lighter book from us, we will make an effort to box it and enclose it in a priority flat rate envelope. If we can do so and ship it to you for less than the first class international postage, we will do so and refund the difference to you.
