Half of our books are in our brick & mortar store, which also houses art, antiques & jewelry. The rest of the stock is in our large home. Subjects at the store include, cooking, children's, religion, biography, art, transportation (train, plane, automobile, ship), entertainment (Movies & TV), theatre, music & dance, & leather bound sets. Books at the house are alphabetized by author on shelves. We have approximately 7,500 hard cover books on ALL subjects. They range in date from the late 1700's to 2000. Fiction & poetry will definitely stay at the house. If you would like to stop by & browse the shelves in our home, please call us & set up an appointment. We also have a huge selection of ephemera (at our store) with the major areas being cooking, travel, space discovery, religion & much more. If the value of the book is over $50.00 we require the item be sent priority mail with insurance & delivery confirmation. Please give us your zip code so that we can weigh the book & give you an accurate amount for shipping. Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books under 2.2 pounds sent via USPS for either Media Mail (slowest & cheapest) or Priority Mail (tracking & insurance included). Rates quoted on the shipping matrix come from the USPS site (USPS.com). If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
