Author came to the Texas Valley in 1905 and this book covers his adventures as a Lawman and Federal Agent in this lawless part of South Texas. Great first hand material, not found elsewhere. Inscribed by the author"With Best Wishes". Book clean and tight, end pages are heavly foxed as is the text edge; dj is complete but with insect nibbling on edges.
