64 pages. Hadden was an early advocate for women in the criminal justice system, working the the New York City Night Court and intervening to help women out of prostitution. After World War I, he and her husband Alexander set up the organization now known as the Institute of World Affairs, which provides education on international affairs topics. In her later years, Hadden wrote inspirational and patriotic poetry, such as the verses collected in this volume. 16 holdings in OCLC; only one (Huntington) West of Texas. First edition (first printing). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket. Inscribed by the author. Magazine clipping of a photograph of Hadden tipped to first blank.
