We just started listing books on Abe and are excited with what we have to offer. We have been selling online for the last 10 years however and guarantee your satisfaction with our product and our customer service.
We are in the process of liquidating my grandparents’ extensive book collection. My grandfather, the George of “George’s Books,” was a surgeon in New York City who practiced from the late 1930s until his death in 1974. My Grandmother was his nurse and passed away in 2008. What makes this collection interesting and exciting is that both of them were avid collectors of many things. There are quite a variety of interesting and beautiful books that cover a wide range of topics.
As we sort the books they are breaking down into the following categories: History, Ham Radio, Military, Photography folios and text, General Science, Periodicals, Philosophy and Religion, Clubs and Organizations (Masonic, Boy Scouts etc. ), General Fiction, General Nonfiction, Medical, Travel, Cooking, Children’s, Music, Text Books, Reference, Collecting, Biographies and Autobiographies, Astronomy, Rubaiyat, Rare and Art. We are starting with Folios, photography books and Rare Books and will be adding to our listings regularly.

We guarantee the condition of every book as it's described on the Abebooks web sites. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged) or if the order hasn't arrived, you're eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. If you've changed your mind about a book that you've ordered, please use the Ask bookseller a question link to contact us and we'll respond within 2 business days.
Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 4 LB, or 2 KG. We will never charge you more than quoted, but if your item is lighter than 2 LB or 1 KG we will issue you a partial shipping refund.
