Publisher's brown cloth binding with red and gilt lettering, gilt illustration of St. Patrick's Day parade on front. Noticeable rubbing, especially at corners, and 2 chips from bottom edge of front cover. A collection of humorous drawings from "Life" Magazine, founded in 1883 as a humor and general interest magazine. Among the illustrators featured are John Ames Mitchell (1844-1918), one of the founders of the magazine, Harry Whitney McVickar (1868-1905) and William Henry Hyde (1858-1943).
