Description:

Collins, Suzanne. THE HUNGER GAMES, CATCHING FIRE, MOCKINGJAY. New York: Scholastic, (2008-2010). First Editions, First Printings (with complete number lines) and all three volumes are as new and unread. THE HUNGER GAMES has been signed, CATCHING FIRE has been inscribed, and most importantly MOCKINGJAY has been hand-signed not just tour-stamped. Suzanne Collins has made a point of not hand-signing copies of Mockingjay except for close friends with the consequence that matched signed sets such as this are rarely seen in commerce. Housed in a new custom-made maple wood open-end box commissioned especially for this particular set. Despite the hyper-modern nature of this trilogy, the film adaptations (complete with superlative Oscar-winning actress) have put these books in the same iconic category as Harry Potter with the exception that there appear to be more author-signed first printings of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone than author-signed first printings of Mockingjay.
