Sentiment card folded to 4 x 5 inch. Inscribed "To Miss Julia Evans, Souvenir of Giorgio Polacco, 1905" on one side. Also a business card (3 x 1 7/8 inch) of Gaudenzia Salassa with an inscription on the backside by Giorgio Polacco in Italian and dated 1 October 1900, San Francisco. Giorgio Polacco (1873-1960) was a world famous opera conductor in Rio de Janeiro and Rome. In 1912 he was conductor of the Italian wing of the Metropolitan Opera. He was music director and conductor in Chicago and his last performance was in 1930. Fine clean association pieces. Seller Inventory # 12455
