Embossed Cloth--1975--560 Pages--Fourth Edition. This is a "Good/Very Good" volume showing very light bumping around the corners, a pon on the bottom of the pages. The pages appear very tight and very clean, we found NO MARKS. Dr. Ewing was a pioneer in Instrumental Analysis and we should not short-change this book. Of course, today we have moved on to more and more mass spectral techniques, high performance electrophoresis, and various high performance gas and liquid chromatography methods. Instruments have become more sensitive and samples tend to be smaller. Finally, all of these techniques now rely heavily on computerization that became available in the 70s and 80s.
