Gideon Wells (sic) when Secretary of the Navy under late President Johnson, always was ready and willing to do me a favour + aide me with President Johnson + cabinet in important matters all of which [continues illegibly]." Front free endpaper and preliminary pages missing, fading to spine, else very good with normal wear. Binding is strong, text block is clean. Remains in good minus condition overall.
