About Marlowe's Mysteries
Half our inventory is mystery books, and the other half is everything else: science fiction, general fiction, westerns, romance, horror, supernatural, comics, health, gardening, non-fiction, military, Civil War, and magazines of all sorts. We are strictly an e-commerce business. The book business was named after my noble dog Marlowe, who was named after Philip Marlowe, the private investigator from the Raymond Chandler novels. On a sad note, Marlowe passed away on March 1, 2010, at the age of 20. I miss him every day.

For domestic orders, buyer can choose standard shipping (media mail) or priority mail. Visa, Master Card accepted through the ABEBOOKS website, as I have no mechanism to process credit card payments. Checks and money orders are accepted.
Shipping rates assume hardcover books. I will reduce shipping rates wherever possible for paperback books. After a book is shipped, I will notify the buyer by email that the book has shipped.

Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 1 business day and we ship Monday through Saturday. Shipping costs are based on hardcover books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required, but that's rare and we usually bite the bullet on shipping. We reduce shipping charges if possible on multiple-book orders, since we ship by weight.
