About the Author: Hamlin Tallent spent thirty-two years in the US Navy and retired as a two-star admiral. During his navy career, he served on several aircraft carriers that traveled the Western Pacific to Olongapo. Hamlin currently resides in Escondido, California, where he is vice president of SENTEK Global, an information technology company.
