Publicity photograph (7 x 9 inch) by Ray Jones for Universal Pictures (b/w) from the movie "I Stole a Million" in 1939. On the back of the photo is a typed caption describing the gown Ms Trevor is wearing which was designed by Viola Dimmit. Claire Trevor (1909-2000) began her movie career in the 1930s and continued acting up through the 1960s. She won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in "Key Largo" (1948). In the image Ms Trevor is leaning against a white pillar, dressed in a full black gown with a string of pearls around her neck and hand bag in her right hand. Fine clean copy.
