About the Author: Baris Atalay studied electrical engineering at the Technical Uniersity of Istanbul. He continued his studies in Maastricht Uniersity and obtained MA degree with the present thesis. He then continued his professional life and was the first European Patent Attorney born in Turkey having passed the European Qualifying Examination.
