Leather bound with gilt-tooled designs, according to the subject matter of the volume. All volumes have gilt edges and marbled end papers. These books are clean, tight, square with very good corners and unmarked. They are very lightly rubbed. They have 618 bright, clear pages gilt edged at the top, deckle edged elsewhere (mild soil on the deckle edges)) illustrated with photogravure plates and a color frontispieces.
