A stapled pamphlet, secure binding, interior clean and unmarked, minor soil/browning to cover. A compilation of articles concerning the various railroad lines serving California's Marin and Sonoma Counties, extending to San Francisco via the Sausilito Ferry. Five issues of Western Railroader [321, 324, 346, 349, and 353], dated 1966 to 1969, are included. Articles offer a plethora of detailed information and are well illustrated with photos, maps and sketches. From the initial route along the coast, many spurs and extensions were built, one inland to from Sausalito to Petaluma and Santa Rosa. An east-west line between Fulton, north of Santa Rosa, and the coast allowed the N.W.P. to advertise its Triangle Trip, a full day scenic ride to Fulton, just north of Santa Rosa, then west along the Russian River to the coast, and finally back to Sausalito along the coast, excursion price =$2.20-$2.80.
