circa 1920s. Photograph (8 x 10 inch) in a studio pose of Joe McCarthy (1885-1945) who was an American song writer. He wrote lyrics for several editions of the 'Ziegfeld Follies' as well as many popular songs such as "You Made Me Love You, I Didn't Want to Do It" and "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows".
