First American Edition in black cloth with silver lettering on the spine. Bumped at the top of the spine and the bottom front corner of the front board. Slight foxing on the front edge of the text block. The pages are bright and unmarked and the hinges are strong. Dust jacket (in mylar sleeve) is chipped about 3/4" at the spine tips and a little at the corners. Rubbed along the front hinges with a few other slight nicks and chips along the edges of the back.
