Pandora's Books Ltd. was founded in 1973 by J. Grant Thiessen and Maureen Thiessen, and is now owned by Tim Friesen. Our shop contains about 150,000 books and magazines, primarily science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, private eye, spy thriller, etc. We also carry an extensive stock of westerns, war, adventure literature and other genre fiction, as well as a modest amount of non-fiction.We are happy to ship world-wide and ship most orders within forty-eight hours.We are a small shop and not always able to get to the phone. Your inquiries are best forwarded by email. We do all our business by mail-order and are not generally open to the public.
Our prices are generally net to all. Books are returnable for any reason whatever, within a reasonable amount of time, but please check with us first.
As of May 14, 2007 there are significant changes to the way overseas mail is handled by United States Postal Service. Please note that surface mail has been eliminated, in favor of First Class Mail International. It is therefore difficult for us to quantify standard shipping rates for multiple volume orders. You may wish to check with us prior to placing larger orders.

Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Most single paperbacks can be shipped overseas by First Class Mail International for $8.50. We will calculate the best shipping method for each order and reduce the shipping cost if we can when we confirm the order.
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
