Single leaf (249x202mm), handwritten on both sides in cursive, black ink. Flattened creases from folding, else fine. Special order number 216 of Col. Cummings that 2nd Infantry Captain Hoffman and Lieut. Eaton examine a quantity of ordnance stores and confirm concordance with invoice, signed by J. S. Gallagher, dated 31July 1833. Followed by the findings, that the quantity is correct, with the exception to two missing Port-fire Clippers and one sheep skin, and noting that the musket ball cartridges are "scarcely fit for service"; signed by William Hoffman and AB Eaton.
