Light browning of the text block edges and there are a few stains to the lower edge. Only very light age toning of the pages. Previous owner's ex libris stamp to the top right hand corner of the free front endpaper Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges with the top edge having a few small tears - with associated creasing. Quite noticeable rubbing of the front panel, fading of the back strip and a little yellowing of the rear panel. Pages are lightly tanned. An erasure under two lines on one page has left the area a little roughened. The free endpapers are darkened, the back pastedown is less so, and the front pastedown is a little so. DJ: 8 closed tears, 1/8 in. to 3/8 in.; a 1/4 in. chip; several small, rubbed spots; darkened areas are on the flaps' folds, the back panel, and some of the reverse side.
