BAL 1517. Publisher's blue cloth binding with gilt title on spine and initials "SFR" in gilt on front. Minor rubbing at edges, small spots on front and back cover. Plain brown dust wrapper with minor chipping at top and base of spine, protected by mylar. 156 pages. Charles Brockden Brown (1771-1810) was an early American novelist, historian and editor.
