About Ripping Yarns
We are an antiquarian bookshop in North London, just opposite Highgate tube station. We specialise in children's & illustrated books but also have a wide-ranging general stock, including poetry, plays, ephemera etc. Please contact us with your wants as much of our stock is not listed online. If you are coming to look at a book you have seen in our online listings, please let us know beforehand as we don't have room to keep all our books in the shop. Postage and packing are extra. International orders will be sent airmail, UK orders 1st class, unless otherwise requested. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch and Delta; also sterling cheques drawn on a UK bank account.
Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
