About the Author: The author is a descendant of the Erwin family and has spent considerable time researching the lives of his ancestors and the Cherokee Indians who once lived in the Salacoa Valley and North Georgia. His research for this book took him to North Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Kansas, and North Carolina.He is a graduate of Emory University Business School and Emory University Law School, retired from business in Atlanta, and lives in Dunwoody, GA, with his wife, Roberta.
