Seldom Seen Books is dedicated to providing quality books across a range of subjects and genres. I'm a reader first and foremost and am very selective about the books I select for sale - for each book offered hundreds have been rejected. I take care to list all significant defects and prepare the dustjacket of each hardbound title with a Brodart cover; most soft cover books i.e., Vintage Contemporary Editions are covered with a secure (unattached) mylar cover. I wrap each book individually in protective wrapping paper and bubble wrap before packing it for shipment in a sturdy box or comparable mailing container suitable for the size and needs of each order.

The ‘first edition designation’ complies with the guidelines established by McBride’s “A Pocket Guide to the Identification of First Editions” (Sixth Revised Edition). Additionally, where the book in question is the author’s first in a particular genre e.g., first short story collection, first novel etc. it is included in this catalogue.
